That said, despite the disappointment, there is a lot to be said about actually THINKING about the show rather than just throwing something up there like the last attempt.

I think a Wonder Woman TV series has just missed its window... again.

This past fall, the CW ordered anew new pilot with mostly new cast. It stands a very goo chance to go to series this year, since the show is some much like HG.
It's not a question if Amazon will ever go to series, but a matter of when it will go to series.

Was reading an article today about how big a chance that ABC was taking with the "Agents of shield show". Wait a second you have a show based on the second highest grossing movie ever made..and its a risk. Like say more then a generic cop show or something.
Superhero movies make a 138 million or so average in domestic box office. Thats more then any other genre around(close second: CGI animated films). The kind of reluctance to want to turn this in TV kind of boggles my mind a little bit.
I realize capes and tights can look silly-but yeah thats what people seem to like. I be willing to be like say buff also that the audiences that watch agents of shield asckew a lot younger then generic cop or Lawyer show.Shows like Arrow may not be in the top 10 but itts on the smallest network, and does very well. and there is a certain value in cults. Nikita do decent in the rating tp.
Which i think goes to Shows like Amazon. They keep wanting to make a wonder woman show. They know it has potential-actually they should becuse the last time they did it was in the top ten of 3 of its 4 seasons.
Yet i keep think they won't actually do it. Cause, i don't know.

The plan is to have Barry Allen appear on several episodes of Arrow and then spin him off into his own show set in the same universe as arrow.
Meanwhile, Amazon seems to be going nowhere. The new writer hired did turn in a first draft of the pilot script, but it looks like the suits at the CW didn't like it.
