“Do you really think you’re worthy of me?” she asked.

“I’m sorry about everything, babe”, he answered smoothly. “How about I take you out and make it up to you?”

Janie leaned back against the wall and crossed her legs in the air, casually ignoring the law of gravity. “Now that I’m wearing that outfit you like, do you want to touch me, Jake?”

“Definitely!” He approached and slid his hand up the silky pantyhose covering her thigh.

“That wasn’t an invitation.” Her hand came down on his, squeezing it painfully.

“Ow!!!” He strained to remove his hand. His other hand grabbed her dainty wrist, trying to pry her off, but her iron grip amazed him. “Let go!” he groaned.

“I thought you liked touching my leg”, she mocked him. Another second and she let go, grabbing his neck instead. Pushing up, she lifted him off the ground, legs flailing. Her eyes brightened as she watched him struggle helplessly, then threw him at a wall.

Janie had been thrilled when Jake first approached her in school. She was pretty, but honors students in average clothes don’t usually appeal to cute football stars. She was surprised he even knew her name.

She agreed to help him with a report after school Tuesday. They were writing an outline when his friends showed up, so she kept working while he “got rid of them”. He came back an hour later and thanked her for writing the outline.

After he said she looked pretty, she came back Wednesday to help with the actual report. Another distraction left her working alone and becoming annoyed. But when he returned, he asked her to go out with him Friday. So she spent Thursday evening typing the report for her dreamy new boyfriend.

Janie spent Friday night at home alone, crying.

Saturday, her friend Cindy dragged her out for “shopping therapy”. They ran into Jake and his friend, and that’s when the trouble started.

Seeing Jake hit the wall and then the floor, his friend Keith yelled, “You bitch!”

“Leave her alone!” Cindy responded, stepping between them.

Keith shoved her aside and faced Janie. “I don’t know how you did that, but you’re gonna pay!”

“Kiss off, jerk”, Janie replied. She puckered her red lips, kissed her extended middle finger, and blew a tornado at him. He flew back 30 feet into a clothing rack, which joined him on the floor.

“Do you really think you’re worthy of me?” Jake had asked Janie when she first confronted him in the store.

“I thought you liked me”, she replied timidly.

“Why would I like a nerd like you?”

“So… what? You just used me for your stupid report?”

“Well, DUH!!! Smart girl finally catches on!”

Tears welled up in her eyes.

“If you want guys to like you, maybe you should wear those clothes.” Jake pointed to a mannequin in an embarrassingly skimpy outfit.

Jake and Keith laughed as she started crying.

“What’s the matter, nerd girl?” Keith taunted.

“Leave her alone!” Cindy stepped in to defend her friend.

Suddenly, a blinding light surrounded Janie, stunning them all.

Seeing Jake stand back up, Janie quickly forgot Keith.

Jake felt like a tackle dummy. He heard the clicking of heels on the tile floor and turned to see Janie approach. He noticed she’d thrown him into a corner. There was no escape.

“Janie, now just calm down”, he began, turning on the charm.

Janie rolled her eyes. She grabbed his shoulder and pushed him down to his knees.

“Oh God”, he whined.

“That’s ‘Goddess’ to you.”

“Please, Janie…”

“Didn’t I just tell you to call me ‘Goddess’?” she interrupted, squeezing his shoulder painfully.

“Ahh!!!” He wailed in pain.

When the light disappeared, Janie felt incredible. She was suddenly wearing the mannequin’s clothing that had embarrassed her before, yet now she felt comfortable, even sexy, in that outfit.

The black pumps and sheer pantyhose accentuated her shapely legs, the tight black skirt barely covered her hips, and her firm, round breasts strained the equally skimpy black top. Her pretty face was made up beautifully, framed by her long brown hair, the recent tears gone and forgotten.

She didn’t know where the power came from, but somehow she knew it wasn’t hers. It was just for now, to teach them a lesson. She faced Jake confidently.

“Wow! I didn’t know you had magic!” Jake said. “You look really hot.”

“Do you really think you’re worthy of me?” she asked, and the payback began.

Janie released Jake’s shoulder, leaving him kneeling in pain.

“You said I look hot before. Do you like my legs?” she asked, posing playfully.

“Yes”, then seeing her reaction, he quickly added, “…Goddess. You have great legs.”

She grabbed his neck and pulled him up to face her breasts. “And do you like these?”

“Yes, Goddess.”

She pulled him to his feet. Standing face to face, she asked, “And my face? The other day, you said I was pretty. Were you lying?”

“No. You’re very pretty, Goddess.”

“So if you think I’m so hot, where were you last night?”

Jake cringed. “I’m sorry. I was wrong to do that. I’ll never…”

“Stop!” she interrupted. “Since you like skimpy clothes so much…” she snapped her fingers, and Jake found himself wearing only his briefs.

Cindy, who’d been watching Janie’s revenge in awe, started laughing hysterically.

“Hey!” He tried to cover himself.

Janie taunted, “What’s the matter, Jake? Uncomfortable being almost naked in public?”

“Ok! You’ve made your point!”

“Have I? Really?” Janie looked him in the eyes. “Do you really think you’re worthy of me?”

Jake hung his head, defeated. “No, Goddess.”

“Maybe you have learned your lesson”, Janie said, and walked away.

‘And so have I’, she thought. With that realization, she felt the magic dissipate.

Approaching a store employee, she asked, “So… how much is this outfit?”
