You know, in my 20's, I climbed all kinds of natural terrain. Cliffs and mountain summits, sometimes free-climbing where a fall meant likely death, (usually we roped up in such terrain, but sometimes there were short pitches that I just gutted out), but tall buildings absolutely terrify me. Her pictures and videos are unbearable. Can't watch them for more than a few moments.

Not sure why rock comforts me and buildings terrify me, but at my age, I won't be climbing either anymore.

But whenever I see her videos or picts, I'm certain that someday she's going to be a splat on the pavement with a broken selfie stick sticking out of it. Can't really get the whole fantasy thing going as I realize the ludicrous risks she takes for her Instagram followers.

Climbing for sport is one thing. Even base jumping off buildings with a quick-opening chute sounds like fun (and that sport splats way too many people).. But climbing completely unprotected to take selfies is crazy. Mistakes eventually happen to everyone.

"Two mistakes away from a fall" was the mantra back in my day. Not one mistake.
