Costumes

There was a time not to long ago when we turned to comics to see women in masks and sexy costumes with plunging necklines.
Then the big budget movies came along and except for a very few exceptions that went away.

Thankfully Starlets have taken up the slack.
I give you Nicole Scherzinger and jenny McCarthy on the Masked Singer

Both women knocked me out last night.

Heck, even Brie Larson who famously wore unisex clothes and costumes in Captain Marvel is getting in on the act.
Her guest shot on Jimmy Kimmel would have gone un noticed if it were not for her outfit.


So in Comic Book movies we don't get what we want.
In other forms of entertainment we do.

Yup... we used to have it all. Amazing, fantastic stories, dramatic superwomen of heroic proportions dressed in exotic costumes that no real person could wear, let alone stay on except by comicbook magic. 

I never saw a problem with that because we were dealing with fantasy. Reality was somewhere very different. 

Then someone connected a line from fantasy to reality and broke it all. 

Not sure if fantasy leaked out or reality flooded in, but I don’t like the new mixture.
