Ana Beleval - Chicago WGN reporter - 2010

27 May 2020 04:57 #68191 by jubei438
Back in 2010, Ana Beleval covered Wizards of the Coast Comic Con in Chicago (Rosemont). Her segment (Around Town on WGN morning news) was always my favorite. I about died when I saw it on the morning news, as she was dressed as Supergirl (see below). Would love to find those clips again, but also feel this community would appreciate some of the pics captured of it. Her husband is a very luck man!!!

Appreciate your sharing with the community.

If only she wore a long, blonde wig to complete the cosplay look.

I guess its a weird thing with me, and maybe just me, but brunette Supergirls do not wind my clock. Not even a little.

My message to Ana would be: Do the cosplay right or don't bother. Suitable wigs aren't hard to find.

You can pretend that she's cosplaying Lara from Superman/Batman Generations.

I guess... I did like her. Maybe because she was a blonde wearing a black wig as SG as reverse disguise. But it surprises even me now locked into blonde hair I normally am for SG.

My brain-warpage probably comes from growing up near Holland, MI, US, a Dutch immigrant colony where most of the girls were tall, athletic, blonde, cute and... adventurous. My junior and senior high school days in the early to mid-60's hard-wired me that way by the time I picked up the first Supergirl comic book. .

Funny how some things never change. But unlikely I'm the only one.
