New Themed Gallery Topic was created by lfan
OK, no place to put it yet, but thought I'd solicit ideas for a new themed ubergirl gallery. Any ideas? Ones that have been mentioned are:

-- gender bender (male heroes as women)
-- Supergirl Changing Room (heroines in mid change)
-- Gym (Super)girls
-- Character Galleries (i.e. supergril, mary marvel, etc)
-- Other gals as supergirl (wearing the 'S')

Any others?

I really can't get enough of supergirls bending objects (inanimate) across various parts of their body. The tougher the object, the better.

How about a gallery of pictures of bouncing bullets. Y'know, loads and loads of ammo just pinging off the invulnerable curves of supergirls...

Amen to that. The bullets-and-boobs manips at Xtreme Strength.... well, they leave a lot to be desired. Surely somebody here can do better.

I could go with that. I would also like the "Supergirl Changing Room" idea. There is something about a dowdy secretary type becoming an ultimate superheroine that never ceases to fascinate me.

Next SGI themed gallery is gonna be "Girl Power" which will incorporate our heroines in action shots demonstrating their powers --- strength, speed, invulnerability, etc.

Haven't decided whether I'm gonna do it en masse or break it up into sub-galleries (Girl Power - Strength, Girl Power - Flight, etc), guess it depends on submissions and how much $upport I get from the artists and/or I'm willing to $hell out for commission work.

Regardless, give me some ideas of scenes and characters you'd like to see. Keep in mind it needs to be rather simple. Much as I'd like it, cannot have Supergirl stopping a locomotive with the track derailing such as this incredible piece:

So let's hear it....ideas, people!

I'd like to locate any superbreath artwork or pictures anyone knows about.

There is definitely not enough out there that focuses on that superpower.

Also I think that a gallery of superpowers drawbacks can be a good idea, even if a little silly.

Something like this powergirl.metrocity.com/pghughes.jpg

Plenty of artists MUST feel that way,
look how incredibly HUGE they make the
breasts they draw!!!

Puts on ASBESTOS VEST

Gideon's work comes to mind.
Always liked it, but he almost always draws
the breasts TOO DAMN BIG!

YES PEOPLE! TOO DAMN BIG!

Would like to see him draw a woman
and actually SHOW HER ABS
FOR ONCE !!!!!! :D :D :D

Don't think it was from a comic....I think was probably a "tryout" or "internal test page" over at glasshousegraphics.com --- some Ace talent in those parts.....

It's from the Glass House Graphics website, I think.

I've seen it before.

And wondered why Supergirl's panties are the only part of her costume that seem to be invulnerable.

You're only seeing the protected backside. Maybe the front is already full of holes like the rest of her costume.

On the other hand, there is no lower body nudity on GlassHouse, but an occasional naked breast here or there. But mostly they llimit themselves to suggestive stuff with either tiny or torn costumes, like this.

Interstingly, the bulk of their artists are Brazilian or Philipino. Are those countries the next hotbed of fantasy artwork?

Maybe because they are cheaper than the usual USA/EU artists and they usally are scared to lost any gig fearing a bad reputation?

Going ahead is the only one way to go to the future.

That's not an excuse for their talent you know. I've met some these guys in my country Philippines and they're really good. Even at deviantart most of my favorite artist are either Brazilian or Filipino, all based on the work they've done. Reiq and Ed Benes easily comes to mind.
