Gotta say that this is a fantastic tease. So often, I've been personally disappointed with mainstream stuff that seems to overlap into our genre, but this has the makings of something special for our community I think! For me, Melissa Benosit has now supplanted LvV as the quintessential Supergirl, the more and more that I see her on screen. She brings this "built-in, sweet naivete" of the character while still being able to transition into ass-kicking mode in her action scenes.

As far as the trailer, CBS has now given us some glimpses of some of the casting announcements from the last few months., especially the villains who seem to be comprising a nice Rogue's Gallery for our Girl of Steel. In the trailer, we get good glimpses of Hellgramite, Reactron, Maxwell Lord, and the "flying girl" I would presume is Livewire (based on all the danging, exposed power cables). And Alex makes good with a little DOE training as well!

Initial reactions and user comments I've seen and read online are very positive, and even some naysayers are admittingly coming around and saying they'll give it a chance. Hopefully it will live up to expectations for the long haul....
