If she had worn THIS outfit with Elmo on Sesame Street, I think then the parents might have a pretty good case.

Wishes granted...well, sort of.

Katy is playing a superhero (well, no powers that we can see, but a skintight outfit, dramatic poses, overly-earnest dialogue, etc) for her brand of healthy snack chips. She and a team of actual cats (just go with it) have to protect the world from "Fat Cat" and his unhealthy snack alternatives.

Before you rush to ridicule, it sure seems like she's perfectly aware she's making a cheesy, campy, goofy video. I particularly like how she becomes mesmerized by a line of wigs.

And did I mention a skintight outfit?

That pretty much sums up Katy Perry.

Strangely enough i would kind of like to see abstractly see a katy perry play a superhero. One could say she already seems a tad to have a bit of a secret identity of someone who is cearly playing a sexpot. I could imagine Perry at home being a normal person in glasses turns into zoey deshnaels head on a pornstars body.

Maybe superhero is the wrong word. Maybe something like if they actually made a realistic version of Hanna Montanna.

But the idea is there.

P.S I would guess normal in this sence means "she smokes a lot of pot" but that is normal anyway.

P.P.S As an asside Ke$ha is in addution to being a rock star rapper is a commentator on economics for NPR.

10 year old girls and old dirty dogs who like looking at KP, ENJOY!
Everyone else...... Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt as Catwoman in the 60's Batman series. Hell, even Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in that BM train wreck.

Thanks, but no thanks, on that share... keep trying; I DO appreciate the effort.

Old dirty dogs eh?

I don't like Katie's music all that much, but she is without question one of the sexiest women alive today.

I wonder what motivates people to put up such strange and negative posts...

PS I don't think any 10 yr old girls use this site, mate...

I'll take Julie Newmar and Katy and you can keep the rest. Something "nerdily sexy" about KP and Newmar was just plain sexy! Eartha Kitt did nothing for me and I really can't understand Tarentino's goddess obsession with Uma, though she is attractive.

Strangely, as over-the-top as Katy is, I'd be curious if she could do a respectable job as an actress. She's pretty good in the video for "One that Got Away".

Author's Note: I am neither a 10 yr old girl or old dirty dog

Amazing how Katy Perry can produce a pretty good Jungle Girl movie in a few days and it's gonna take Hollywood years to get a actual movie made.

One of the things i like about the video is just obviously done in a soundstage it was.

Old timey jungle movies used to be done in them, or in 'jungles' that where just peoples backyards(i have been in them). It worked better then you think it would.

These days when people do jungle movies they go out to Hawaii or Mexico or Africa-its really expensive, extrodinarily difficult and no one has a real good time at it. And the thing of it is-it doesn't look better. the real jungle isn't as lush as the ones here.

Which is a shame as jungle movies are kind of fun if you let em.
