This is a fair question. Going back through the pages there were a few attempts at heroic characters, but at some point the "villain/bully" archetype took hold of this thread. Personally I blame the "something-verse war".

This is really not a nice thing to say. In fact it's the opposite of the right thing to say. If you don't like the captions or you think that those who make them should try something different you should tell them.

The Korean woman sighed: "It's very simple, sir. All these superpowered women we examined had gained their powers without effort. Misfit accidents. Random induced mutations. Some were even born with them. All of them posses powers, but they never had to struggle to get them."
One of the military officiers sitting at the table drummed his fingers on the cheap aluminum surface: "You're talking about self-discipline, aren't you. Like a martial arts master."
"Exactly" Doctor Jin smiled. "None of these women feel the need to control herself because none of them had the self-discipline."
"I don't see how this might help us. All of these 'superwomen' have proven to be invincible, except to each other."
Doctor Jin swallowed hard: "This is my idea: we should create one more superwoman, intentionally and with purpose this tim-"
The uproar of the people at the table drowned the rest of the conversation. Doctor Jin gritted her teeths, trying not lose control, but she could feel her entire body hitching for release.
"AS I WAS SAYING! This time we are going to choose a suitable candidate based on the criteria I mentioned in my presentation. A woman who knows the sacrifices necessary to achieve such levels of power."
"You're talking about an athlete, aren't you?"
Doctor Jin smiled and started unbottoning her lab coat: "Not necessarily."
