I wanted to revisit a story i once read long ago, but can't remember the title.
The woman absorbed a small stone and gained super power. Later, she went to the North Pole（or South Pole ）to absorb the remaining meteorites to get more power, causing the glacier to collapse
Maybe my description will be inaccurate.
Anyone know the title？

That happens in The Towers' Syndrome, but it vaguely seems to me it happened in another story too. (There's only so many possible origin stories, yeah?)

Hmm.. it sounds like a story written by Gribble. I believe that the name had the word "Star" in it but I'd have to dig around to find out for sure.

Dru's "not the one" the character absorbs these power rings. Definitely not the story you mentioned but same theme and she's a bad girl.
