Super 16 came out today. If you like teenage drama and superheroines then this is your fare. Personally, it's OKAY. I've been reading Love Child, and it's much better.

OK, but who's the author of Love Child? All my searches turn up multiple results, it's not the kind of name that's sufficiently distinct to be usefully searchable without an author.

It's by Andrew Neiderman. A girl learns that she is of a line of Amazon's that gain size, strength, and heightened sexuality when they are aroused. This is the same author that wrote The Devil's Advocate, if that helps any.
