To me, the greatest rock band of all time is Rush. Who can go wrong with such song selections as "Working Man", "Subdivisions", "Tom Sawyer", and one of their greatest, "Red Barchetta".

I can still remeber the greatest Rock band and song of all time.
"Satisfaction" by the Rollings Stones as judged by the hippest
radio station on the planet, KHJ In Boss Angeles Circa 1969.
Now for the $64,000 question. What song a year later was judged by the
same station to be the greatest of the decade? I will really be impressed if you can get this. I doubt you will believe my answer, but it will just go to show how things change over time!

I forgot to answer my own stupid question. It was "Sugar, Sugar"
by the "Archies" from the cartoon show of the same name. That just shows you about how much the greatest of all time lists know.
When the Diamondbacks beat the Yankees in game 7 of the 2001
world series what did they play?
They started out with "New York, New York" (like the Yankees always play when they win in New York) then a BIG SCRATCH and cut to yes a Queen
tune and I can guarantee that it was not "We are the Losers"
If you have to pick an 80's band , I'll take Queen.
