Marvel's Red She-Hulk Coming This Fall

Marvel's Red She-Hulk Coming This Fall was created by lfan
This Fall, the HULK ongoing title will get a major feminine facelift, in the form of Betty Banner, the Red She-Hulk. Jeff Parker, the writer of the title recently announced that starting in October the HULK series is gonna now star Red She-Hulk, instead of the big green guy. There are undertones that the absence of the Hulk may be part of some massive revamp/upheaval/paradigm shift in the Marvel Universe, but I'm just happy to see Red Shulkie get her own title.

First Captain Marvel, now RSH....could more female-led books be on the way? Jeff Parker thinks its not such a bad idea:

Marvel is trying to cut their misogynist fame. I read somewhere Avengers' audience was composed by 40% of women. So they can't lose them once they tasted the Major names

Never cared for any of the Rulks and tbh the amounts of Hulks is getting silly. Just give us back the Shulk we know and love :(

Truth be told, I actually LOVE the Red Shulk, perhaps even more than the original Shulkie. Betty Banner lends a jealous and angry streak towards Bruce Banner that I think makes the character more intriging....

I completely agree. She also has the old reckless confidence I liked about She-Hulk and not the "single, green, and female" bit that the green version has seem to become.

It will be nice to see another female-lead title from Marvel. I've been enjoying Captain Marvel and it would be nice to add another Marvel comic to my list. My only worry is how standalone it will be, since I'm not reading any of the "big" Marvel titles like Avengers or X-Men.
