In lieu of the obvious titles like Supergirl, She-Hulk, etc., I'd recommend the following titles for über girl fans that might not be as obvious:

Worlds Finest (new 52)
Mara
Tomorrow Jones

Elf

Knowing you-you might like Girls. Which is an older limited series horror comic by the Luna brothers about monsterious..well i won't spoil it. When its at its best is a really good take on a lot of horror ideas with a very surreal air.

or Bomb Queen which is kinda of a comedy with the same basic premesis as my story Armada, except the diffrence is that shes not an iddiot. Little to smiley for my taste but you might like it. Its all just about a supervillaness.

Powers if you haven't read is something you should check out. Its a deconstruction of the superhero genre with attitude, but its not a bad one.

Astro City is a very good book thats also a post modern take on superhero but that is a great book..

And for hecks sake, The Authority. If you haven't read it then you should take a look at it. A plot point i coming up for Mazing girl(which i don't want to spoil) is that she doesn't want to be a character from the Authority but you could have fun with it.

Castor

Ps I always kind of liked Spider Girl to.

Thanks guys...I'll be sure to check these suggestions out! I've already downloaded Mara 4 and 5...is there anything different about the collection? I was wondering...because it's cheaper to buy the six individual editions of Mara than the collection. Seems odd...

Hey Castor...can you point me toward a few good editions of Authority that concentrates on one of the ladies? On the face of it, it looks like a really good series.

If anyone else knows of a good find, I'd sure like to hear from you...

I'll admit to not reading all or even most of its run.

but The first volume with Jenny Sparks as team leader was pretty good-not just becuse shes a woman leader of a superhero team, but it is Authority ass Authority. I would start at the beggining and continue till you throw your ipad out the window. Thats the best way to approach that comic.

FWIW, this is perhaps -- in my opinion -- probably the best drawn and greatest example of "girl power" in a comic:

www.comixology.com/She-Hulk-2004-2005/comics-series/11844 (Issues 10-12)

Issues 10-12 focus on Titania's grudge with Shulkie and takes girl power to another level when he is given one of the "Infinity Stones" to help her in her quest to defeat the She-Hulk. Great art and action.

But 0.02$ for comics with the ubergirl content;

* Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel
* Super! A new serie that has a female lead character with super powers. It is very fun to read.
* Zombie Tramp. Independent comic about Gore!tastic adventures of zombified call girl.
* Uber. Nazi ubermensch during World War II. One of the main characters is a female juggernaut. She has tremendous power (probably the strongest) but appears occasionally. Good story with incredible art of Caanan White.

If you don't have The Daring New Adventures of Supergirl in physical form, now you can buy it online. Only the first is release, right now.

Harley Quinn is a lot of fun, and the back issues are cheaper.
The same team is doing Starfire, which obviously has more super action

Sensation Comics feat. Wonder Woman is a digital-first anthology series. Issues are 99c and stories span 1 to 3 issues. Some great, some poor, but usually interesting.

I wish I could recommend Ame-Comi Girls, because it has some gr3at, sexy character designs, but the end was abrupt and unsatisfying.

The most recent She-Hulk was on sale the other week. A lot of fun, but the stylized art may be an acquired taste. (I liked it)

No links cos I'm on my phone, sorry.
