Dark Supergirl

As far as I know the Dark/Evil Supergirl only appeared once in issue #5 of Supergirl v5 (although she first appeared in the last panels of #4).
She was a duplicate/shard of personality of Supergirl given form by exposure to a chunk of Black Kryptonite (don't ask). In the power department she showcased all the typical kryptonian abilities and weaknesses and she was able to fight most of the Justice League on her own. It's worth mentioning that, at that time, Jeph Loeb was handling the series by pitting Supergirl against a different opponent each month and having her overpowering them with ease, making a correct assessment of her power level problematic. In the end she was forced to merge with the regular Supergirl after being ensnared by Wonder Woman's lasso and asked the question: "Who is Kara Zor-El?"

The character was inspired by a Silver Age story, where Red Kryptonite produced an evil clone who used the alias of Satan Girl (I'm not kidding).

The Ami-Comi version of Supergirl gets infected with black kryptonite by a female version of Brainiac and then goes on to defeat all her allies while taunting them. One of my favourite comics! When I have time I'll post a link...
