DC/Milestone's Earth M Relaunch was created by lfan
At NYCC, DC Comics recently announced the relaunch of their Milestone Comics Universe which gave us diverse characters like Static Shock, Icon, and Rocket. With the relaunch of these and some other new books, there appears to be a few things for ubergirl fans to keep an eye on:
1. Love Army -- one of the new titles is a miniseries (debuting in Spring) called Love Army which features "a secret army of female planetary protectors with amazing abilities and super-strength" Artwork preview (see below) seems to indicate a pseudo superfemale UN task force
2. Static Shock -- Virgil Hawkins is back but this time he has a female supporting cast member named Amber (see below). Reginald Hudlin, perhaps the main driving force behind the relaunch, describes Amber with the following blurb: ""Usually in a black neighbourhood, there's that white family who can't afford to move out. Amber is like 'what if one of them were a superhero?'"

I'd seen the blurb of Earth M (Milestone) fly by, but I didn't go looking at the specifics.
Good Find! I look forward to seeing these projects come out.

Love army looks like they have somewhat flag-based costumes. Looks like the Blonde is from Sweden. China is equally obvious.

Yup, woman in the front has a South Africa flag. Can't identify the others though

The Islamic woman looks like she is wearing a generic burka.
Which kinda fits the theme.

By the looks of things she's wearing green and red, which are very common colors in islamic and African flags, so she can be from any number of contries, from ALgeria to Palestine.
