Anyone not picking up this book yet should. Cool team concept -- illegitimate kids of superpowered hero brought together to fight as a team. One of them, Scrap, is a feisty female film student with superstrength and some spunk to her. Issue #2 had her totally beat someone down (repeatedly) with a Taurus!! Aside from the uberness, its written by Jay Faeber (of Noble Causes fame) so its a fairly good and entertaining read.

I would say kids are late teens, early twenties, though no definitive ages are given. For example, Scrap is a film school student at NYU in her spare time....
