Anne Hathaway has been confirmed for the role of Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises", due in theaters in June, 2012.

Same here, now I just hope that the new film works a little better than the last, since I think it was too long and too action-centric, especially for a movie including Two-Face.

Sorry, but Dark Knight was definately one of the best movies of this decade and by far the best comic-adaption (next to spiderman if you like psychological films) ever! I know it`s off topic, but just wanted to state that :D

Anne Hathaway...Dunno any good movies with her, so I am not too glad...And i also have problems imagine her in this role - i mean c`mon, - compared to Hally Berry...I guess they have to stuff out the spandex costume. But maybe i`ll get surprised, let`s hope so :)

I thought she was awesome as the addicted sister in "Rachel Getting Married" and as the assistant Andy Sachs in "The Devil Wore Prada".

Earlier this morning Warner Bros. released the first official photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. We had heard that Catwoman would be riding the Batpod in Pittsburgh today, and Warner Bros. decided to strike first. This didn’t stop the paparazzi from camping out, and we now have set photos from the stunt that give us a better look at Catwoman’s costume. Obviously that’s not Anne Hathaway riding the Batpod, but we get a good look at her walking to the set. Check out the new photos after the break...

I agree with you, but apparently some members consider this a relevant superwomen topic. Just like with Salt or Sucker Punch , I don't consider them really superwomen movies but I guess it's a matter of opinion. One thing I like about the Runboard Supergirls forum is that there's a separate section for movies with women who kick ass (what they call "Fighting Women") but don't have any actual superpowers, though I admit it can be a bit of a gray area.
