This is kind of annoying, actually. Half the stuff he's complaining about isn't a problem with the movie. Yet, he missed the villains talking to each other on the moon, where there was no air to conduct the sound waves (the biggest problem in the whole thing!)

For the EWW/Cinemasins videos, you can't take it too seriously. Stuff gets missed. Stuff gets overanalyzed. It's all for fun :)

Those guys are funny. It's a reminder that literally almost any movie can be nit-picked to death if you think about it too much.

I remember loving this movie as a kid and actually cheering in the theater when SM killed Zod by tossing him down a pit. However, now that I see it again as an adult, I can tell that it hasn't aged well. I mean, does anyone think that the cellophane "S" shield and the strange other powers SM developed in these movies would fly with today's audiences?

I always thought that Superman knocked Zod down that hole right back into the Phantom Zone.
Superman leading Zod to an isolated spot on Earth to fight him and useing his brain to develop tricks and traps to defeat Zod instead of leveling a city and breaking his neck worked just fine for me.

They do one on practically every movie so I'm sure they will.

This biggest problem is the used that big oaf to stop the Apollo taking off! It would have been way better seeing Ursa stopping it take off and then crush it!

Better still, Ursa flies after the escaping spacecraft, the astronaut thinking he has got away, but she brings it back down to the lunar surface.

I like this idea too....best shoot both scenes. In fact scrap Zod & the oaf, and have Ursa girl-friends join her.!

As long as she,

1) pulls launching Apollo back to moon
2) causes the engines to burn out
3) crushes the Apollo

then throws the wrangled scrap of the Apollo into the sun.
