Arcade game: Numan Athletics

This is an arcade game from the early 90's. It was a series of mini games which involved tapping buttons frequently to win certain olympic style events. The catch is that the events were for superhumans called "Numans" and involved chopping boulders, tossing missiles, catching a bullet train, and running hundreds of kilometers an hour. One of the playable characters was a girl called Sharon. You can still play it using MAME software emulation and the ROM of the game.

Sorry to resurrect such an old topic but I just wanted to say that the sequel Mach Breakers: Numan Athletics 2 finally works to a good playable degree on the latest version of MAMEUI
There are a lot of new events. But my favorites are the monster pull in which you pull a huge monster in a city. Anything that gets in the monsters way gets destroyed even buildings. And the missile toss, which is pretty much the same as the one in the first game except the missile is much bigger and if you manage to throw it far enough you'll nuke a city o.o
