Who or what is your avatar?

My avatar is the She-Cat busting out of her flight suit from Ac Comics FemForce #162
This is the splash page from "Nosey" the first comic book story I ever wrote.
Although it was published second after "Book em Synn" featured in FemForce #161 my first story ever published.

Originally it is a black & white page from the book drawn by artist Andre st Amour.
I later commissioned him to color it as a birthday present to myself.

In the background you can see U.S. Army helicopter pilot Lt, "Dizzy" Aziz and bad girl Steel Scimitar in action.

Claire Holt back when she was in the running for the lead roll in Supergirl. Seemed like a good fit at the time.

Larafan used to use one of my other commissions of Supergirl as his avatar, Supergirl (with Streaky) in a tie-died T-shirt in a hail of bullets. This one is by Elizabeth Torque, who I can't say enough great things about. I have a hard time having a favorite anything, even so, this might be my favorite commission.

Before anyone asks, yeah yeah, why are the bullets still in their casings, blah blah. Yes, I've gotten this comment several times on my page. I didn't notice as I was busy looking at Supergirl and not the bullets. But my No Prize answer is they re-used ammunition and are firing it from a rail gun, getting a higher velocity from the rail gun along with a higher mass as the entire bullet + casing is fired (meaning even more damage, not that it matters here). Must be steel jacketed ammunition though.

Again, Streaky is stealing the show. Some people are concerned about him when they notice him, not realizing that he's bulletproof too.

Just curious -- when it comes to using original art for an avatar, do most people obtain permission from the artist? I see lots of interesting potential avatars on DA, but have never gotten around to contacting the artists.

Original artwork of my favorite OC Hannah Deangelo: The girl who was born completely omnipotent. Now 19 years-old, Hannah has tried her best to let the universe go on as it always has, but even she can't resist changing a few things here and there, including her own physique. The world still has a hard time accepting that this teenager can literally do anything she wants, and what she wants is to just have fun.

Currently, an image of Carrie LaChance in a Supergirl outfit she had made. One, because my last avatar seemed to have gone poof, and two, I heard there's this new show on CBS...

Previously though, I've had a shot of the backside on an unknown girl in an outfit (maybe a hero, maybe a villain) with a car headed towards her.

Before that was a short lived Fairchild render on deviantart that replaced my missing Jamal Igle Fairchild pencil piece that I started with. I own the Igle piece, but fear that it got stolen with a couple sketchbooks I had at Comic-Con. (It was on 8x10 paper, and I had it as a reference for another Fairchild piece of art I wanted from someone.)

Its a picture i did for my last Art Show, a couple of years ago. Its a graphic that combines some traditional photoship work i do(i do a lot of semi abstract art) and Fractal stuff i was experimenting at the time with. Overall i think it has something like 30 layers(i sometimes do as many as 70).

Its loosely suposed to be a flying bird. I picked it i think becuse my first big story was Starhawk which has a semi abstract bird theme.

That´s Mathilda May from the movie Lifeforce. She´s an Alien in Human form (and, boy, what a form that is). Although she´s not much of an uber-girl she´s stunning, has some powers (mind control, energy draining, some sort of telechnesis or something) and cause quite an impression on me when young, probably only second from Ursa from superman II.

My avatar is a volleyball player called Thaísa, she is almost 2 metres tall and extremely sexy. The SG uniform I don't remember who did it, I'm trying to remember the name since last week but I simply forgot

Elizabeth Torque has just resurfaced after being gone and not posting on DA for about a year. From what she's said, and what I gathered from talking to other people, she's had a rough year personally. I even pinged her a few times via email and I didn't get anything back.

As anyone who knows anything about me or has spent a few minutes looking at my DeviantART page will realise I am slightly fond of British pop star Nicola Roberts (i.e. totally obsessed!). So I thought it was only fitting that I used a morph I made of her going out for a little walk while carrying two massive dumbbells!
