OK, I liked this movie as much as the next guy, and thought it won the Oscars deservedly so (well, truth be told I didn't see much of the other films)! However, why the hell do the networks choose to think anything successful at the box office translates to the small screen. Some yes, but this movie was a Pulp-Fictionesque myriad of storylines that tie together in a single 24 hr period. It was the charm of the movie, and -- at least to me -- doesn't lend itself well to several episodic anecdotes. I could be wrong, but just a pet peeve of mine. Can't we just call it a successful movie?
