Here is an old manip posted before, updated a little and another from my backlog. Both feature the lovely Kit Quinn from the genderswapped JLA cosplay group.
One of the most important techniques is to make sure the beams go where the model is actually looking. That makes some pictures impossible given that a lot of photos have the model looking at the camera. Heat vision coming straight on is hard to depict.
I hate it when I find an outstanding image in the right costume etc, but her gaze is wrong. I've tried to force some of those and it never looks right. Unfortunately, we humans are VERY discerning when it comes to judging where someone's eyes are looking.
Some of these picts are good that way. Some others... not so much.
Very true, looking at the camera/photographer is the norm for most cosplay and modeling shoots. However in video it's the opposite as to not break the fourth wall. So taking screencaptures of movies works nicely, thats what i used for the Mia Malkova pics. Quality is usually nice too.
