That was a lot of fun.  Made some really good friends working on that movie.
Mike Conway and I are still close friends. he came to Texas in 2014 to act in a short film I was making.
 

I have several pics on my hardi drive from the old days.  I would bet that half are of Mandy.  I could post them here, but only with permission.  None of them were pay for view items.  

Just checked my 'Steeles' folder.  50,260 files and 15.5GB of stuff.

Needless to say, it's going to be hard to distribute THAT!!  But my memory is that out of a photoshoot with dozens of picts, perhaps 2 or 3 will stand above the others. But, of course, picking the best few picts from each shoot would vary by the person selecting them. 

Needless to say, Bully_pup produced a great, great many hot pictures. The costumes were first-rate, as one would expect given his professional source, and the models were outstanding, given he was drawing from Las Vegas talent pool, which, if you've spent any time there, you know is pretty amazing. The Hooters restaurant chain had only one feature that made them worth visiting, and it definitely wasn't the food. I say "had" because I haven't been into one of those restaurants in more than ten years, but perhaps nothing has changed. 

I'm sure it helped that many of the waitress/actresses/models really wanted media exposure, so that worked in his favor. The stories of aspiring actresses getting discovered while waiting tables or doing advertising gigs or other forms of photographic exposure are what fuel LA and Las Vegas dreams, drawing young lovelies from across the continent. 

And unlike many unscrupulous characters who take unfair advantage of this "ripe for abuse" environment, it was my observation that Bully_pup didn't play that game. He was a gentleman in an environment that was overloaded with exploitive men and ambitious women. He offered exposure, which was greatly desired by his models, in exchange for the innocent exploration of his visual fantasies and his movie-making passions. Everything was upfront and proper. His restraint and sense of propriety really impressed me given how rare it was. 

They say the playground of Las Vegas corrupts everyone. But obviously, that's not entirely true.

The hair is perfect. Very long and straight. When you can’t cut your hair, it gets long. 

From what I can see, she’s muscular but slender with an intense face and very blue eyes. This SG has been around a bit, and she will kick the bad guys asses without apology. 

Or so I see it.

I really like the idea of an SG who has been around for a long time (albeit aging very, very slowly) and has her stuff totally together. Some days anyway. 

On other days, 18 is too old for me. Variety is nice. Perfection is a matter of perception in the moment. 

As far as the nose piercing... obviously it's a fake. She's invulnerable. Probably held on with superglue. It just looks cool. 

Imagination has no boundaries.

Artist could use some comments.  Has a lot of promise.

It has always seemed unrealistic that Red Sonja was a swordfighter who didn't wear effective armor and never had a scar or nick on her. I know... comic book science. And she looks very nice in a shiny bit of nothing.

But everything has to be plausible at some level.

Well, thanks to this artist, we now know why. The Goddess protects her from any injury. If fire and explosion don't singe her, then hacking on her with sword or axe or mace only earns you the tip of her sword, likely between your ribs.

Lynda Carter in 1976 at the Network Battle of the Stars. She was doing the WW TV show then, but wasn't regarded as a "big star", The competition was athletic in nature, and Lynda was in better shape than anyone else thanks to her constant preparation for the WW show, but she only came in third. The judging rules were probably not strictly based on athletics, given the nature of the show. 

Anyway, a moment from the past. The whole nature of actor conditioning for roles has gotten a lot more intense and more strength-oriented since those days, witness the video of Brie Larson's preparation for Captain Marvel (gaining 15 pounds of upper-body muscle on her frame is wild) and many others. 

Based on the desires of Directors and the strength-training regimen in Hollywood, upper body strength is now the Holy Grail for action stars, male and female. This is one trend that gets my vote. 

But that said, Lynda was pretty amazing for the time. And, of course, she came with (many) extra curves.
