Joes Dilemma

Dru's story was posted this mornign and can be found under new stories. I waived the moratorium for new publishing while the contest was still ongoing because:

1) The omission was my fault
2) The entry was originally intended for the workshop so its still on topic

I've spoken with Dru about it, and while he did not want it included in the poll, he was ok with posting it.

Why thanks guys. Your assistance means a lot to me. I was never under any illusions of winning the contest with such a tiny tale, but I'm glad people can see I really did write something for the workshop...even if it is under 2000 words...

I hate to disapoint...but this was just little thing I threw together for the workshop. I don't plan to add anything to this one at this point.

Just wanted to say that, while Joe never had a chance of polling well, I did manage to get the number one spot on Diana's daily top twenty yesterday with 950 hits in the first 12 hours he was up. I know it doesn't translate to mean anything other than people liked the title, but it washed any dispointment at missing out on the polling here away. If I'd been officially in the poll, I wouldn't have sent the story to Diana's library...funny how things work out sometimes. Oh, and he was #1 again today with another 750 hits. It's been a long time since I topped that list.
