Just over 4 days in and we have 40 votes, there is one story that's looking like it will win be the is only a few votes in it. There is still plenty of time to cast your vote for your favourite story.

Slowpoke is right. I'm reading a story or so a day (depending on the length), and still have more than a few to go. Seems if I read faster than that I'm not giving the story the focus it deserves.

I have to say there is a great field of stories here! It doesn't make voting easier though. I'll probably have to narrow down the field a bit, flash re-read a few stories, to get down to 1-3 and then re-read those before I can figure out which one I should vote for.

with 10 days to go on the voting and we have 69 votes in and there is only 3 votes in it between first and second, your vote can and will make a difference.

Nice that it is a close race. I'm slowly making my way through the entries and will probably post a few thoughts on each entry when I get through them all.

the software only records the most recent vote from the ip address of the user.

so if for example you voted for story a, then decided to vote for story b story b's vote would only count.

If you vote from a different IP then that vote would count a new vote.

I guess I shouldn't have waited until the last minute. But I interpreted 'until the closing date of the 10th January 2016 ' to include the tenth. Though what was done does fit what was said.

Really my own faullt, so many good entires and I sat thinking about it. I still dont even know who I would have voted for, I was going to figure that out after I got up today.
