Ok this is really impressive. Not to mention she looks pretty good too.

I just heard about her as well, very impressive achievements and she lives not far away from me (shame she’s only 16)!

It’s also good to see the positive reaction she’s getting (and to a lesser extent that Jodie Marsh got when she took up bodybuilding). Hopefully it’ll encourage more women to take up this sort of sport, which I thing would be a very positive development (and some scientist might decide to start work on a superstrength formula for them  ).

Bronwyn has just come on the tv - she definitely doesn't look 16 (did I hear right?) She's going to be giving the presenters a lift in a van later on, but apparently she won't be driving

She's just pulled a cruiser van with six people in it over some distance - one of the prima donna actresses pulled out at the last minute and ran off as she'd been overshadowed on the show! Bloody hell! :woohoo:

I found out today that Bronwyn won a gold and a silver medal at her bench-press compaction on Saturday, and will now be representing Brittan at the world finals in May. Here’s a link to the article Link .

Also I found a video on youtube of her appearing on daybreak, here’s the link Link .

In case anyone missed it here’s a video of Bronwyn’s appearance on BBC’s One Show where she shows of her bench-press prowess and pulled a van with six people inside.

And she makes it look easy!

Maybe, let’s hope they find lots of messages of her complaining to her parents that she don’t like having to pretend that the weights in those videos are heavy for her, and asking when her new hydraulic press will be ready!

I have to say that a personal favourite is Zoe Smith, an 18 yo Brit who competes at Weightlifting in the 58kg class. She started as a 13 yo and being naturally strong smashed every age and a few open records in her class. She is the opposite in appearance to Bronwyn being shorter, darker and more lithe but has a big future in front of her (already won a bronze medal at 2010 Commonwealth games).

And it also accentuates that it is a farce that powerlifting is not an Olympic sport.
