Carried to the extreme.

Yeah, but if it was good acting, it wouldn't exactly be authentic, would it?

It certainly was recognizable. :)

But then...The Powerpuff Girls aren't really supposed to be adults. That's kind of a not-so-small change. I mean, these are the Powerpuff Women.

Besides SuperKlenk, the "white whale" of ubergirl fan films and videos to me is supposedly a "Powerpuff Girls Grown Up" video short film that the Dahm Triplets made back in the early 2000's. They've mentioned it in a few interviews but I've never been able to find any proof that it existed. Can't say (obviously) anything about the quality of the film, but if you Google "Dahm Triplets" you can check out the quality of the girls!

This feels like it doesn't really get the powerpuff girls to me.

The defining feature of that show for me from a visual standpoint is how in control it is. The metaphorical camera is either locked down or on the best dolly that money can buy. the movements are amazingly precise and planned, and the dialouge is based on the kinda faux improv but actually heavily scripted style of the Cohn Brothers.

I think the idea could work as a trailer(also way to slackly cut for it), or maybe even a movie-but Powerpuffs is not something you can do with out a tripod.
