For those unaware, 'customs' are when a fan writes a script (or at least a synopsis or outline) and pays for a video to be produced using characters from an established producer series (such as Heroineburgh). It's live-action fan fiction meets 'What If'!

Here are some guidelines if you are interested in hiring a script for Heroineburgh:
- Actress are subject to both availability and willingness to perform the described scenarios.
- All content is PG-13 just like with our regular video series. We reserve the right to approve all scenarios.
- Bottom range price is $300 (which includes two actresses and the editor) and goes up from there if you want more actresses, special effects, or a special location rental. No special effects are included in the basic price.
- We don't do 'private' videos. After the custom is delivered to the client, it will be offered for sale on our customs page.
- The custom videos aren't necessarily canon in the Heroineburgh universe, so consider it to be an 'alternate dimension'.

For those on SWM who are interested in girl power content, displays of strength, or combat fighting, we can certainly oblige
your ideas. Make your superheroine fantasies a reality!

We're actually communicating today with another client who has a fantastic script idea for an 'alternate universe' secret origin tale!

Slinky supervillainess Sintilla (played by Alicia) prepares for a round of fisticuffs with heroine hottie Hellyra (played by Sasaya).

 

Malevolent mercenary Stellara (Casey) is caught red-handed, and challenges sonic-powered superheroine Darbouka (Tiffany) to a battle!

 
 

Are there any sort of lifts or flying effects available (not just laying on a board in front of a green screen)?

Good question, and thank you for asking it.

We hadn't planned to offer those kinds of advanced effects, but we can look into how much it would cost, on a case by case basis. However, CGI effects involving use of superpowers we could certainly do.

The main thing is that we prefer to keep the customs low-cost and easy to create. So far we have completed two customs (and we are scheduling two more) from fans who have written scenarios without any effects, just practical props and expressive acting. Pleasantly surprised by the creativity of our fans!

Some exciting news to report on the Heroineburgh custom video front:

Tomorrow (Tue Oct 26) we are filming our latest minisode: Heroineburgh Custom Video #3!

It's an 'alternate universe' origin story about how the heroine Spectrina transformed herself into the powerful villainess Dark Spectra.
In the main universe (Episode 18) she uses a giant crystal machine to become Dark Spectra, but in this story (by a longtime fan named
Nate) she transforms herself by a different process, and also gains a very sinister ability.

We'll be posting some stills from the shoot within a couple days, and then the custom video itself will be launched in mid-December, well after the customer gets his copy. Why the wait? Because in November, we're shooting Custom #4 (an adventure featuring Stellara and Poderosa) and we prefer to release two customs at a time. Looking forward to tomorrow!

P.S. For those who haven't seen the character of Doctor Katrina Spector (Spectrina / Dark Spectra), here's what she looks like:

As Spectrina, in Episode 17, beginning to conspire with the villains by donning gem bracelets which augment her power.

Mark our words, her transformation in Custom 3 will be very different, although no less destructive.

Happy to report that the shoot last week for the Custom #3 video went smashingly!

The schedule is for the footage to be edited tomorrow, and then the minisode will be launched by mid-December
in tandem with Custom #4. Our fourth custom will be shot on Nov 23, involving a kryptonite scenario based on the
Superman movie from 1978. Stellara and Poderosa will be involved - can't wait!

Attack of the supervillainess!

 

Someone should tell these two: never cross the vials!     (of superpower serum, that is)

 

Happy to report that we finished shooting Custom #5 last night (and yes, Custom #4 hasn't been shot yet due to delays. We'll be doing it
next week.).

This one was ordered by a fan who wanted us to re-create the action from a portion of the Batman '66 TV show Season 1 Episode 5 where Batman gets knocked out, carried around by henchmen, and then revives himself while knocking them out with a gas pellet. In the Heroineburgh alternate universe, the part is played by one of our more campy heroines: Zinnia, defender of nature. Previously known as the eager sidekick for plant-powered Gardenia, this is her first solo adventure where she captures criminals all by herself, even though it happens in the 'What If' universe of the custom minisodes.

Customs #3 through #5 will be released together on our site later this month. Meanwhile here are some stills from our Custom #5 shoot to whet your appetite for the minisodes.

The henchmen were going to dump toxic chemicals in an abandoned house, but Zinnia arrives and has them dead to rights with her stun gun!

 

One of the henchmen (Ben) hits Zinnia in the head with a lead pipe. Pretending to be injured, she feigns unconsciousness to gather information on the thugs.

 

After being carried for a while through a series of hallways to their secret hideout, Zinnia quietly palms one of the exploding knockout gas pellets from her utility belt.

 

Throwing the pellet to the ground, she knocks Ben out.

 

Zinnia then goes after the other thug (Art) with a swift kick to the you-know-where, and he's also down for the count.

 

Zinnia calls Gardenia to let her know she has captured a pair of polluting criminals. She asks Gardenia to send the authorities to pick them up.

 

Finally, Zinnia poses with pride, certain that she'll be able to join the mighty Heroine League once they hear the news reports.

 
 

On Sunday, we filmed Custom #7, ordered and written by a loyal fan named Sam.
We're editing it tonight, so it should hopefully be up on the site within a couple weeks.

The plot involves a knock-down, drag-out battle between the superheroine Vendetta (the Italian spirit of vengeance in her tight and shiny red catsuit, played by the lovely Mauricia) and the supervillainess Mesmera (malevolent mistress of hypnotism who also possesses super strength, played by Stacy). There's female vs female combat action, displays of strength and power, both a mask-up *and* an unmasking, and other fun elements befitting a hero vs criminal encounter!

When it's out, we'll make an announcement thread, but here are some stills for now. The actresses had a ton of fun doing this one, and it will come though in the final product!

Vendetta gets the alarm call from the Heroine League about a bank robbery. She quickly masks up and strides confidently into action!

 

Hand to hand combat ensues! Each blow that Mesmera delivers is countered by Vendetta's escrima sticks.

 

They struggle back and forth, each using their amazing strength (Vendetta has been taking Red Gina's adrenalin pills!). Mesmera gets a couple of good punches in on Vendetta - here's an uppercut. Vendetta is unfazed and continues to press the attack.

 

But Mesmera uses her hypnotic powers to break the stalemate - she has Vendetta on the floor and is about ready to cuff her and drag her away to her secret lair to play some evil mind games!

 

However, Vendetta has learned a trick or two herself - she plays possum and brings Mesmera close enough to use a spectral strobe device (built by X-Machina) which neutralizes Mesmera's hypnotic effect. Vendetta attacks with the strobe!

Who will emerge victorious in this mighty conflict? You'll find out when we post the Custom #7 release soon.
