Given our recent shift into a new style I was thinking about a "Generations" theme.

There has been a great deal of discussion about good Uberbirls and bad Ubergirls, with that in mind i was thinking how about the story idea of a taking the viewpoint of the Ubergirl who is doing bad deeds (killing people, destroying stuff) but thinking that she is doing good deeds, and the viewpoint of a normal person who is watching the terror unfold and is reporting it.

I like Fats' idea, if I have time I'd be interested in pitching in a short story on that theme.

This is a very interesting idea, but incredibly difficult to do (at least for me).

What if and generations are both great ideas. Why not a mother/daughter story? Both uber and both with different point of views?

Going ahead is the only one way to go to the future.

That will be the most natural way to handle the generation theme, not to mention one of my favourites (I loved the Firebrids one-shot ).
I was also considering a mentor/student idea, a stories throgh time (several short of different ubergirls through history, or perhaps the same reflecting upon mankind evolution) or a looking for replacement story.

How about a carmic engineer, sort of like Dr who, but a superpowered femme, she apears throughout history of corse because she is like an ageless goddess, call her Paige Templar or somthing really obvious, she's not really a superheroine because she do'snt save everybody, but instead steers human civilization toward some end, like democracy and rule of law, the whole superman thing but with a kind of dark kinky superfemme version of the cigarette smoking man from the X-Files, I would picture a brunette J Love, Ann Hathaway ecc, butt annyhow a story about a day or week or mission or whatever of this carmic engineer woman.

Good concept, but it is a story itself and not a challenge. I really would like read about Ms Templar and her tinkering over the time and space. David, why don't you write her stories?

I'm definitely up for taking part. My favourite suggestion so far is What If, mostly because I already have one or two ideas in my head for that. I do find Generations an interesting idea too. Fat's idea is interesting, but I'm not sure I'd be able to don anything exaactly along those lines. On the other hand I have a kernel of an idea for a reformed supervillainess. A workshop on superpowered confusion, perhaps? This could include the confusion of both the superwomen and other characters.

I am a seriously lazy person, the concept for a Superfemme carmic engineer is a project Ive had in my head for decades, it predates the modern ineration of Dr Who, by the way. It origionaly and may still be called Cadillac Travels, because Ms Templar's Tardus is a Cadillac, anny Cadillac, or stylistic bagaged GM car for that matter Corvettes Trans Amm's ecc, Gives her a bad ass right wing immage, her intentions are much more humanist, although Pan-Humanist, so she is definitely not a superheroine in the traditional scence, her agenda is on a centurys wide scale, see ancient allien theory, or theorys. and her methods and physical attributes often come off as demoness/monster rather than Angel/heroine, but shock and awe have there place, especially in the deep dark heart of this ancient carmic engineer, no she's not called a time lord, and Paige is obviously not her real name, it's Brenda by the way, known only to lovers and friends, her real name "no last name by the way" is a form of the germanic brunhild, her childhood so long ago, she do'nt remember it, "like a verry old vampire" but she was told by her mother that their line was that of the Goddess of Iron and Fire, "Technology", there exists the posibility that her great great grandmother was an AI created by humans far in some otherdimentional future.

In honor of the new site, how about "New Beginnings". It's maybe a little too open-ended, and I'm just spitballing here, but it could cover a couple of scenarios: An origin story. An existing ubergirl going through a radical change that opens up a new chapter in her life.

The other thought I had was a story inspired by the evil overlord list or overlord random plot generator .

I also like the "Generations" idea.

I think a Charlie Sheen workshop would be a little limiting. Maybe "supergirls meet celebrities" would be more open-ended?

Charlie Sheen has described the two women he has moved into his house as "goddesses". Perhaps his description is more literal than he imagines. Who knows what could happen when their true nature is revealed?

I was thinking more along the lines that he dumps one of them and then lives long enough (for a while at least) to regret it.

Quite ironically, the one on the right is known as Bree Olson in the porn industry. She recently played a bionic girl in a recent XXX bionic woman video....

I think maybee the Goddessess would really like Charlie, if he's Libertine and not possessive, maybee the story could be about how they come home for foot rubs and oral sevice and tell Mr Sheen how their days went. Could be an interesting way to go?

In an effort to keep things as 'Open' as possible in order to encourage and solicit ideas, I'm leaning towards a theme of "New Beginnings" which is basically pretty open, meaning it could be an 'origin' story or an existing ubergirl taking on a new lease in life (e.g. becoming good or bad). I think that is pretty open and allows for a variety of differnet types of stories. What say everyone?

New beginnings or a generation sounds like a good idea. Might be willing to throw my hat into the ring, although would probably be a short story.
