The last couple months have been pretty hectic for me. Can you please repost the theme for this workshop.

The theme was "A mid-tiered superheroine seeks more power to move up the food chain"

Not looking good. Fortunately i anticipated a lack of interest and wrote enough for three or four entries.

Gotta say though...i'm sad that nobody seems to have liked the theme very much. Ib thought it was a really good one. :(

I loved the theme, but this period has been way more busy than I was anticipating, so 'hopefully I can work on it' became 'put it on the list of things I wish I could have done'.

May still write a story with the prompt, even if it'll be super belated all things considered.

Honestly, I would have loved to submit a story for the workshop, now that I finally decided to start writing and posting superwomen stories. This beginning of the year has been way too hectic, unfortunately. Right now, my first priority when I have the chance of writing is to try to catch up with The Towers' Syndrome (I should be able to post the next couple of chapters in a matter of days), but there was no way I could take on yet another project. I definitely plan to participate in SWM workshops in the future.

Still working on mine, but had a change of job and got delayed. :/

I agree with Dru, the theme is awesome so I will submit it when I'm done.

I'm thinking either a 1 or 2-week extension to the deadline.

what are your views on that

I just couldn't get started. The topic was more restrictive than any of the suggestions and I just couldn't get interested in it. That seems to have been a problem with the last workshop, too. Instead of giving us a broad spectrum to work in, it feels like the workshop topics lately are a rail line we must follow a specific route on. Also, the so-called prize is not of interest to a guy with no girlfriend to wear it.

I dont have a gf to wear the suit either. But it is a very generous and very suitable prize, i thought.

As for the theme...if its any consolation I have already decided if I win this one I dont want to pick the next one.

Due to work and other RL events, I haven't been able to get going on this. I did try to start a few times, but my 'idea' seemed like a rehash of Zuoergirl at the time so I had to rethink a new plot and never had time to hash it out... :(

I loved the theme, it's right now my alley.

I really meant to actually write something, but work/life/etc got in the way and I never made it a priority. Kept thinking "I should sit down and plot something out".

Late Sunday night I went, "I wonder what the due date for the story ... oh, shit. " So, great topic, I was just too un-focused to get it done, or to actually start.

I think I'm going to have to set aside some time every week to do some writing, because I enjoy it, but it doesn't seem to be something that I can just rely upon myself to just do without some kind of structure in place.

I was out of the country when it was announced and I didn't realize it was on until 5 weeks later. I have been very busy for me. Throw in a couple of
softball tournaments on top of that so I gave up but I have been thinking about a story I started a year ago, so maybe I will get back to work on that.

If there would be an extension of the deadline, I wouldn't mind, since that would give myself the chance to participate still and write something small.. I also had less time than anticipated.

 I know I went down pretty hard on you in the past, but I think that in this case you should really get someone to clean it up.

I believe Castor is saying less people would have forgotten if there was a constant reminder on the front page.
