A queer half-amused, half-angry look flickered into Treelina’s green eyes as she stared at the lumberjack.
The wide-eyed man seemed stunned that she had turned slowly to face him.“W-who a-are you?” the man stuttered, taking a step back, a branch cracking beneath his feet.
Treelina’s wooden lips curled languidly downward. Her branchlike arms moved together at glacial speed as she clenched her stiff fingers into fists. Fibrous knuckles crackling, she smashed the unyielding cluster of hardwood that was her left hand into a rigid palm. A shockwave rustled the leaves of the forest around her from the impossible power of her casual, slothlike blow.
The lumberjack swallowed, hard, backing up another step as his eyes rose her statuesque curves to arrive at her brown, scowling face.
“I’m not going to tell you my name,” Treelina enunciated over the course of a minute. “It would take far too long. My name is ever growing, like a story. And I’ve lived an incredibly long time…”
The lumberjack looked at his watch twice during her five minute speech, no longer quite as threatened by the gorgeous, incredibly methodical tree woman.
Treelina slowly cocked the elegantly rounded hip-area of her trunk, sending the leaves in the neighboring trees into a rippling murmur. The slender branches of her fingers curled to rest on her voluptuous hip-areas as she adopted her classic heroine pose.
Did this lumberjack really not know whose woods he’d wander into with that ax?
“Besides, to give you my true name, I would have to say it in Entish,” Treelina managed over the course of the next few minutes. “And you do not speak Entish do you?”
“I… Entish?” the man looked puzzled.
“Entish,” Treelina nodded, the motion rustling the green leaves that cascaded over her toned cedar shoulders. Her knotty eyes narrowed as she focused her tree-ray vision suspiciously on the human below, watching his heart beat in rapid, decidedly un-Entlike fashion in his chest.

That was fun...! An Entish superwoman? How cool. You may be creating a new sub-genre of .the superwoman fantasy. Does that mean there is also Entish erotica. Maybe even tree porn, where hot part of the story lasts for seasons?
An Ent taking a whole day to describe the wondrous curve beneath a particularly perky knot. The power of mighty limbs. The beauty of golden hair in the Fall. Secret trysts in the dark, Oak loving Maple. Forbidden.
Sorry... its a weird week and the woods are golden and dry and wonderful to walk through, the crunch of leaves underfoot.

Due to the workshop the rest of the new stories submitted this week will be delayed to November 15th. I have to apologize to Akane and Tsuper, since this means that their stories will be delayed almost two whole weeks.

Due to my lack of attention, one of the workshop stories wasn't uploaded properly the other day and I had to reupload it a few minutes ago.
I'm really sorry, but yesterday I was a bit discombobulated, due to some family issues.
Rjjt456's debut piece and the last entry into the workshop is now up for all of you to read.
