Greg Berlanti admitted at TCA that Supergirl's Earth will not merge with the Earth of Arrow and Flash. Is this a good or bad idea?

Fan-fricking-tastic!

Arrow's setting has strongly implied there aren't meta-humans all over the place and doubled down on that in Flash's story, whereas Supergirl is all of about 38 seconds into the pilot before saying Big Blue's been active in her world over a decade.

Not a good fit in fundamental world set-up. Do we really need the fairly OBVIOUS fan complaint 'so where was superman when Starling City was under siege?' And Kryptonians and the Flash have always gotten on like proton/anti-proton collisions in utterly ruining BOTH characters, because how dare Superman not be the best-est at everything... ((spits))

Let them wave to each other across a dimensional aperture one in a while. It's a good call. And if Supergirl is pretty much the ratings deadweight the massive infusion of male ubers suggests it is, better it doesn't drag the other ships down with it.

You know weridly enough...there is something that DC universe does a lot of....

That being stories where multiple universe get so complex they basically reboot them with big events.

i kinda think these tends to be dumb and to big-but you know, you know...its kinda of balsy

To do the Criss of Infinite Earth remake, with Flash And Supergirl. Nothing could possibly go wrong with that.

Yes, it's pretty damn ballsy to reboot Crisis on Infinite Earths with the two main characters that died during it.
