Don't know if this is the right forum for this, but they've released a new trailer for the film Patriots Day. Starring Mark Walberg, it's a dramatization of the Boston Marathon bombings of 2013 and the aftermath. The only connection to our genre is the fact that Mellissa Benoist is in the film, playing the wife of one of the bombers. She appears in the trailer at 1:35 in an interrogation scene. It's interesting to see her in something other than Supergirl or Glee, and I admit, as a Massachusetts resident who knew people hurt in the bombings, the events depicted did affect me.
While her part isn't that big, I liked her in Whiplash as the "girlfriend", and I thought she did a great job in the role.
PSA: If you haven't seen Whiplash, you should do yourself a favor and go see it. It is perhaps the best movie I have seen in the last 4-5 years and has probably the3 best and most poignant ending of just about any movie around.
