The character I'd like to see back is Faora (who I believe is another name for Ursa) in Superman Returns. Played by Antje Traue, she was bad-ass.
My first introduction to Faora was in an old comic book (that was daring for its day) that showed her standing naked in a pond, singing as she drew this poor shepherd to her. He eagerly strips off his clothes and jumps in to embrace her, the two of them kissing passionately, only to have her slowly tighten her embrace until she crushes him to death. As she drops his crushed body to sink into the water, she seems to be experiencing some kind of ecstasy. I guess that's how she got her kicks.
She was one my inspirations for Arion Primes.
Her portrayal as Zod's hired muscle in the film was pretty intense, especially when she starts off kicking Kal's butt. She's way more skillful of a fighter. But since she's not fully adapted to Earth and still dependent on her armor, he defeats her. But imagine if she'd stayed on Earth long enough to fully adapt. She'd be a strong as Kal and a much better fighter. She'd have owned him. Antje Traue looked very believable in the role.
