Favourite Supergirl Episodes out there
The boredom of lockdown has got to me, so I bought myself a new Skybox to beat terrestrial (i.e. not Super) television. I now have 5 seasons of Melissa to watch - woohoo! Can anyone recommend favourite episodes to watch?

Midvale and Fallout
Midvale for a great revisit to young kara and alex's days and Fallout for a Die hard kinda episode where Kara uses her powers whilst trying not to give up her secret identity

Quite early on there is a crossover episode with “The Flash”.
That is the ones I remember...

My personal favorite sequence is her fight with Red Tornado. Best single sequence of the entire show imo. The music, the pacing, the editing, and how it all ties in to the themes of the episode. I'll even give them a pass on Red Tornadoe's costume
Just my thoughts.
Peace.

Invasion Part 1 (Flash S03E08) has a little training montage where she spars with the other heroes - and unlike every other episode she totally dominates the non-supers.
Crisis on Earth X (starting with Supergirl S03E08) includes the single one totally casual use of her flight powers (Sleep-flying) and then there's Overgirl...

I've only seen season 1-3 and so far my favourite episode is the one where she goes evil, also includes a big superman 3 wink.

And the first half of Season Three was really well done, I genuinely thought the show turned the corner.
Then it went to Hell.
The only episode i watched multiple times was the one where they were living life like it was a Musical, I enjoyed Supergirl and Flash singing.

I've only seen season 1-3.....
That would be my recommendation also. After season 3, the show goes south FAST.
But the first half of season 3 is truly great imo. The best run the show ever put out.
I think quite a bit of that had to do with Odette Annable who played Reign. She was fantastic. But the whole storyline was great, as well as the performances from all the cast.
The second half goes a little wonky for some reason. There are some good episodes, but there are also some terrible ones. Like "is this the same team that put out the first half of Season 3"? It does redeem itself for the season finale, which was brilliant imo.
The only episode i watched multiple times was the one where they were living life like it was a Musical, I enjoyed Supergirl and Flash singing.
Excellent episode, I enjoy it very much also Gustin and Benoist had amazing chemistry, most likely since they had known each other since their Glee days. Wish they would have done more with that, but oh well.
Peace.

I also really liked the first two and last two episodes of season 2, the ones with Superman. Again, great fight scenes and Supergirl is quite pivotal to the stories, even though her cousin is on the scene.
Season three was much less appealing to me, although it did include the best single fight in the entire series in episode 9, which was remarkable.
Seasons 4 and 5 are unwatchable.
