KryptonSite was quick off the mark, as always:
www.kryptonsite.com/supergirl-strange-vi...-jenner-guest-stars/
And here at SWM, I'll be updating the timeline database page with all the latest, to create a one-stop shop for key info and links. Please help spread the word about the timeline, as it helps promote the forum. (Incidentally, two things about the timeline: I've added some social media buttons, at the suggestion of some people -- can people here try them out and see if they actually work? Also, if you check out the pilot episode: I've started adding shooting locations to the resources, so you lucky people can actually get Google Map views of where scenes were shot in LA.)

It's interesting they threw white martians into the mix. Certainly puts a limit to Henshaws using his abilities . But I'm kinda bothered how it comes that only one showed up if there are millions or how it isn't explained how it came to earth. I can't recall that has been explained for J'onzz either? Did they just decide to fly here?
The senator spin I felt was pretty smart done, until they reached the end. From her perspective she was abducted by an alien and saved by a human (Henshaw), but that somehow got her to change her opinion on supergirl? I'm not buying it.
I also liked the Grant story with her son this episode. Their second dinner was actually a good scene. But I really have a problem with them throwing in a love interest for Kara in the episode after Winn's kiss. But that might just be my problem for kinda rooting on Winn.
Overall I think they at the moment try to keep too many story arcs going, I'm not really a fan of them only touching on some of them each episode.

Being "Friendzoned" this week was painful to watch.
Especially how quick the new guy moved into her life.
One of my most favorite episodes of the old Wonder Woman show was the episode when she went west and met Roy Rodgers.
In that episode not only did Wonder Woman and Steve stop a Nazi plot she also helped a young boy regain his will to speak and she helped repair a rift between father and son.
It was Wonder Woman's compassion and empathy that drove that story.
We see a lot of that kinda story telling here also.
Not only from Supergirl but from Alex also.
I liked those parts.

I do think the writers tend to forget little details of past episodes in order to further a current plot line. For example, during Cat and Adam's meetings, I kept on thinking "Wait a minute, what happened to Cat's other little boy? The one she has right now? Who's watching that kid?" The writers could have at least dropped a line about Adam having a half brother and he is being watched by...whoever (Note: This may be the parent of two young children talking...).
Crazy to think that we have an army of Kryptonians out there plus a potential army of White Martians but SG still has time to mend a personal relationship between Cat and her estranged son.

I too was a bit confused at the beginning, thinking "What happened to the other kid?", even going as far as to think "man, he grew up fast??" lol
Loved the development of J'onn in this episode, really good performance from David Harewood.
For me this was one of the best episodes in terms of performances and action. Good mix of both.
Look forward immensely to Bizzaro-Supergirl next week
Peace.

P.S. "Crazy to think that we have an army of Kryptonians out there plus a potential army of White Martians but SG still has time to mend a personal relationship between Cat and her estranged son." Simple. It's because she is Supergirl and she is that damn good

But I disagree with the praise for the action in this one. Once again, it was fast cuts and poor lighting, so we couldn't tell what the heck was going on. Especially in the dark in that final night time fight.
And I agree that the senator's change of heart at the end was unexpected and didn't make a lot of sense.

I wasn't too concerned with where Carter was .. because he's mostly not a problem for Cat to solve normally (she has sitters). I suspect that Adam knows Carter exists (it'd be public knowledge and if he read about his famous mom on the internet, he'd know). But it also seems like he might want to get over the big hurdle of Cat Grant FIRST before tackling the idea of his half-brother.
It does seem like something that should have been brought up, as it'd be pretty heavy on his mind. "Why did you keep HIM and not ME?" This has to be something that has eaten at him for years. And it frame's Cat's answer: "I kept him because giving you up tore me apart and I couldn't do it again." It's also how she KNOWS she would have been a terrible mother, because she was barely ready to be Carter's mother and she's far more mature and with it than she was when she had Adam.
I do hope the Martian was lying and there aren't "millions" of them. But the progression leads me to believe it was lying. "Thousands! Millions!"
In the comic all life on mars is gone, and there aren't that many left. I think J'onn is the last Green Martian. (Miss Martian is a white martian.) There are a few other White Martians too, but I don't recall there being thousands let alone millions. Though with the story told in this episode, there should be a planet full of White Martians.
I'm wondering if really the reason the White Martian was on Earth is that something happened on Mars and most are gone. It's entire blustery way it talked at the end just makes me think it's all a lie. No other White Martians are coming. It also seemed a lot more bent out of shape about there being a Green Martian if there is an entire planet of White Martians and the rest of the Green Martians are all dead.
I'd also like to get some handle on exactly how many Krptonians are out there. At times it seems like about five and other times 100's.
If it's 100's I don't know why they've just not taken over yet... It would be easy to determine where the DEO base is, and then destroy it from afar (same for Lord's office.) Maybe there will be a good reason why they were holding off on things.
Even five is a pretty big number, they can gang up and take out Superman, then Supergirl. And after that it's almost impossible to stop them.
I can see Krypontite holding them off initially -- but they have a defense against it now ... There has to be another reason.

I agree with the thoughts that the white martians looked good. While dark I also enjoyed the aerial battle. I thought the birds eye perspective shot of SG hitting the ground with a puff of dirt - standing - and taking back off was top notch.
I also noticed they cut the elevator scene - but I didn't think it looked that amazing in the promos. Something was off about it. I also wish there was more to the white martian "hive." It seemed like there could have been more to it with the amount of effort that was put into it.
Side note: Is there a shot writer/lurker around here or is it just co-incidence? Brad's Melinda Crane - politician and hero vs . Miranda Crane politician on CBS SG. Jeez.
It looks like Bizzaro picks up the car to "save it" - then tosses it away! Looking forward to more.

Can anybody get a download of the episode from somewhere? And slow down the action scenes by a LOT, and paste those clips here? I have had some success with a couple of youtube videos, but the detail of course has to be there to begin with and I don't know whether it is in these scenes.

For those who've yet to see this (since it had been CUT (@!#?@!) from the original airing, go to 0:24 in.
