Anybody here know what's become of him? He used to do a lot of superheroine comic books online, and was especially known for Tetsuko, but there hasn't even been a new blog entry since 2012.

He says on his site that he's not using it any more in favor of his DeviantArt page. It doesn't look like there's very much new there either, but he is commenting and responding to comments as recently as last month, so he's still around.

As far as I know, he's still the only one to have tried this.

And that was a decade or so ago.

Uhhh... he may not be the fastest artist around but he's very active, he published two drawings in March alone.
His average is about one picture per month, and his Tetsuko comic is still going on (albeit super slowly).

Tetsuko has been updated recently with a few pages added at the end of the "Derek" chapter. Love Tetsuko, and I love how she is now embracing her power as the 'strongest human being on Earth' in front of her ex. Unfortunately David doesn't advertise his new work much. More's the pity...

That was an awesome read, despite the continuity error. Tetsuko is still a long time favorite of of mine.

He posted a lot of Satin Steel stuff last month for Inktober.

He also just started a Patreon page: www.patreon.com/davidcmatthews/posts So if you want him to increase his output, some support there might help encourage him.

He also posted some new pages to "Naked Justice" in October. He's been doing that instead of new Tetsuko pages. (I have to admit I like Tetsuko better than Naked Justice.)

NSFW (the title "Naked Justice" is completely accurate.)

Speak of the devil.

I'm supporting him on patreon and he just posted early peeks to the next two pages of Tetusko #3 (no Tetsuko in them :-( ). He also posted a sneak peak at the next Red the paladin page.

They aren't done, and he wants to post three pages, so he'll not post them until he gets the next page done -- but he's actively making more tetsuko stuff and it should be out "soonish".

If anyone hasn't seen it and wants to read how David set up that fateful Saturday morning for Tetsuko in the lab, he has 5 short prequel chapters in place that are a good read.
And Tet-Chan's ex Derek should get his ass kicked! (Although he did wet his pants later when she showed him the new Tetsuko)
