OK, ya'll have been so patient (well, not really), so here's a special sneak peek at a 1:40min clip of The Awakening. The clip is about 17MB long so be warned. I'll be working on compressing it before we put it up on the site, but you guys can be the first! Comments of course are welcome!

I don't know what you're talking about LFan. Me and Gooner have been the epitome of patience while waiting for the release of this movie. I mean, it's not like we've been hounding you in chat rooms, message boards, and yahoo groups about details of the story or plot. Oh, wait a minute, yes we have!!

Anyway, thanks for the clip. It looks fantastic!! When's the release date again? (<-There I go again.

Thanks LF for giving us another sneak peak. Its great to see another clip from the film, just to keep us going. Just think what Mandi could do to your plums (ouchie). So release day shouldn't be too long away now (I hope)?

It's coming. I went over to see Mike yesterday and watched his edit of the last 40 minutes of the movie. It was awesome! I can't wait for you guys to see this.

A little bit of news. Mike is still cutting. Looks like he's got about another week (give or take) of editing. Then he goes to scoring it.
Me, I thought I was done with the FX editing, but Mike found a few more fixes that he wants done. Nothing big, just a mic removal and a hand from a take that he wants to use. But all the hard core FX are DONE!
Yay! I estimated 100 hours. I think I went a little over 400. LOL

Ok that's the news.

And that clip only shows a fraction of the scene. Lara get's REAL nasty in that bar.

It gonna be full-length, Sarge......based on the script length it should be around 1:45 - 2:00 I would say, but that's before editting, but that should be in the ballpark. Pup, this is correct, right?

Yeah, you're in the ballpark. In terms of movie length, one page of script generally equals one minute of running time. The script is just over 130 pages.

What more can i say about the clip?!? It's been covered ~ however ~ does the noise Lara's shoes make creap anyone else out? :shock:

Yeah, the sound of her shoes on that tile did kind of add to the scene. She was trying really hard not to slip. But by the middle of the night, her slipping was the least of it. Given that the scene was shot in a REAL bar, we all learned what a party animal Mandi could be. Oh the stories I could tell you...
