She looks more the part now that she's matured a bit. Maybe they could buff her up just a bit too with all the workouts to ramp up to it.
*beggar* replaces the word I’d really like to use – but know I’d regret – and there is no edit button after all.

The problem with Wonder Woman is, whoever they get, some ppl will approve, some wont. We all have an image of who we think should play the part. Thats just life.
Peace

I could see her Waaaaay before Bullock, I mean are you kidding? Bullock!!!
Hell yes I'd like to see Fox done up as WW, or pretty much just see her period in anything. However to remain picky an pure to the character I think Fox might be a bit young and too flavor of the month to play her.
Hewitt might work, with some working out like someone mentioned already. If she wants to practice the part my place is available

In my opinion, rather than trying to find a current "known" actress to fill WW's mighty costume, they should follow the example of the original "Superman" film and cast an unknown. Somebody who looks the part, but doesn't come with any film baggage. Both Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter were just starting their careers when they became "famous" for their spot-on portrayals of Superman and Wonder Woman.

1 Rosie O'Donnel
2 Ellen DeGeneres
3 Kamryn Manheim
4 Ru Paul
5 Kirstie Allie
Or any of the annoying hags on the view

However, all it takes is one (or two) people to champion your cause, and you could get a well-cast no-name actress for WW. Wikipedia informs us that casting directory Lynn Stalmaster tried three times to get the producers to consider Chris Reeve for Superman, but they repeatedly passed. But Lynn stuck at it, because he honestly felt that Reeve was right for the role. And history has proved him correct.
Once they had him, then they could hire some big name actors (Gene Hackman = Lex Luthor, Marlon Brando = Jor-El) to fill out the roster of supporting characters and to put their names on the poster to satisfy the nervous studio execs.
So step one: we need somebody to write that fantastic WW script. I for one have given it some thought, and it is a tough task to come up with something unique, yet shows respect to the source material. Plus the fact that WW's origin story has been rebooted like three times so far. Any version you pick means you're gonna piss off some of the diehard fans.
But once you had that, is it seriously that hard to find a woman in the Hollywood biz who:
1. is deemed attractive
2. is the right age for the role
3. has some acting chops
4. does justice to the costume
5. is not a major (or minor) film/t.v. star
6. is ready to be adored and appreciated by all members of this forum?
Isn't that what Casting Directors are supposed to do??
Dear Hollywood: you only get one chance to make the first WW movie. Please, take the time to do it right.
Agreed, but unfortunately, highly unlikely. Times have changed now in mainstream movie making and its VERY rare to find any major motion picture (outside maybe comedies) that casts unknowns in the leads. The studios know the 'big name' translates to immediate sales whether or not the story sucks or even how long they are in it (see Valentine's Day where Julia Roberts was in the movie for a total of 10 mins yet got top billing on the marquee). Studios should be spending their money, IMO, find big name WRITERS rather than plopping 80% of their budget down for a well-known actor/actress....

No big name no big profit. If you can get a newbie which the name can draw about 1 BIllion dollars profit tell me fast, because it is what any movie company daydreams. Today Superheroes movies are to make mega margin of profit so the movie corps can do films which just give an average margin of profit and everything keep going as normal as possible in Hollywood.
So don't delude yourself they are going to find a new face to Wonder Woman, unless you wish this movie sink very deep on the Box Office or just get released straight to Region 4 DVD with chinese and thai subtitles
Going ahead is the only one way to go to the future.
