Supergirl From Krypton was created by lfan

DC just announced their next animated release -- Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, which will be based around the Supergirl From Krypton story arc that Michael Turner drew to reintroduce Kara to Earth. If the movie is HALF as good as the cover art....WOW!!

If it sells well - maybe there will be more...

...or maybe there will just be more SM/BM - which is not bad... ...but and animated SG movie is probably my best hope.

Sweet! Wonder how close they'll keep it to the comic? Summer Glau as SG should be interesting. Nice to know we don't have to wait that long for it either (9-28).

Sorry meant 9-28, also wonder which costume look they'll go for. I'd prefer the classic one but they'll probably stick with the current comic one.

Now I am sure this DC direct to dvd projects are doomed. Summer Glau is amazing, but at every show she comes for some reason it folds.

Going ahead is the only one way to go to the future.

That's funny - it was exactly my first thought. I see why others might like her – I don’t find her all that appealing. Her voice acting will be interesting. I think writing was more an issue than her presence. “This story concept is a bit weak – who can we get to offset it a bit?” = Cancelled.
