Kinda shocked not to find this here as it looks promising.

While the ubergirl action seem good, the overall notes I found on the net make me suspicious. Good finding anyway.

Do you have a link for the notes?

It looks pretty interesting. I'll probably give it a look at some point.

While I don't think they have any actual super-powers, beyond superior fighting/weapons skills, I still want to see it because it looks so frickin' cool. B)

And if you’re a really big fan, there’s this:
Sucker Punch – Amber statue by Gentle Giant, Ltd . It can be yours for the low price of $250.00. They also have Baby Doll and Sweet Pea.

Well I just back from seeing Sucker Punch. I haven't read any reviews yet, but it gets thumbs up from me. Though the movie exudes a kind of überbabe vibe, it’s mostly lots of gunplay, acrobatics, and kicking ass (which is cool and all, and for some it may be enough). As far as any actual displays of super-strength, there really isn’t any—though some of those guns did look pretty heavy. ;) However, there are a couple of scenes that caught my eye. Like when BabyDoll is fighting the giant-robot-samurai-thingys at the beginning, one of them kicks her and sends her flying, and when she lands on the cobblestone floor, she tears it up, creating a sort of trench, then just gets up and doesn’t appear to have a scratch on her—kind of what you’d expect Superman or Supergirl to do if a similar thing happened to them (though I wish I could tell you it was BabyDoll that kicked one of giant-robot-samurai-thingys and sent it flying B)). Actually, BabyDoll and the other girls always seem to look perfect for the most part, no matter how intense the fighting gets, as if they were invulnerable. Also in another scene, three of the girls jump out of an airplane from a pretty great height, and when they land—perfectly, I might add—the ground beneath them cracks. Even though I wish it was an R rated movie, I have to say it pushes the PG-13 rating to the limit. Overall, I’d say it’s one of those movies that should be seen on the big screen in order to get the most out of it, so I suggest seeing it now before it leaves the theaters and goes to DVD. (I saw it in IMAX, but I don’t think that’s necessary to fully enjoy it)

Vanessa Hudgens knows her strengths - What Would Tyler Durden Do?

Vanessa Hudgens walked the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of Sucker Punch, and if you’re wondering if she posed for pictures while looking over her shoulder and showing off her ass, well then buckle the fuck up because yes, she did. Oh I know. I could hardly believe my eyes either.

According to reviews this movie is COMPLETELY terrible and you should definitely NOT go see it. Apparently the fantasy action world stuff is barely a third of the movie.

Whatevs. I felt the same way about the derivative, overlong, overrated snoozefest that was Avatar . Different strokes and all that. (and yes, I really did enjoy Sucker Punch much more than Avatar, which I saw in IMAX 3D)
