It's going around the web that Yvonne Strahovski of NBC's Chuck fame is going to play the role of Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Avengers movie. She did read for the lead role for Bionic Woman 2007 before she was cast in Chuck.

That's good news, I didn't even realise Ms. Marvel was in the movie? Is it actually Ms. Marvel in the film, or an unpowered Carol Danvers?

I find this suspect, because Ms. Marvel was not one of the confirmed heroes on the roster.

Maybe she'll appear as Carol Danvers, as a set up to a later film perhaps though?
