All dark blue body on Superman. Hmm. :unsure:

Maybe it's the "being beat up" costume - rather than the "hero" one that is clean and bright. :dry:

Looking at Zach Snyder's filmography, that's probably the overall costume color tone you're looking at. He's known for darker comic book-ey type filming as well as not being afraid of empowering his female characters. Looks like things are in good hands.
