Lady Bloodfight

Apparently this movie is out already.

This looks like a good movie. The title is horrible, though.

Apparently, it was originally called Lady Bloodsport. Probably had to change the name due to not having rights to the Bloodsport film, which according to IMDB the film is loosely based on.

Bloodsport is one of my favorite action movies.

Lite on plot /heavy on action.
Ok by me sometimes.

not entirely unbiased as Amy Johnston is a really good at martial arts whose attached to the kind of stalled at this point Duo Project-but what she does she does really well.

And the Martial Arts fights if not the most creative in the world are very well done-you can sence her ability and desire to connect with it-there is something to how she punches that makes it look like it hurts. Shes obviously really pretty, but beyond that-theres a sternness to how she acts, a brusqness that does kind of make one think of an 80s action movie star. in a world thats where she is.

The movie around her? its based obviously on Bloodsport, but its a little overcomplicated for it-that movie is fun for its atmosphere and its kind of very simple ploting. This one has way to complicated a plot and not great atmosphere-but its something that if your in the mood for a movie about people kicking ass-let alone a woman kicking ass its kind of fun.
