While kicking around Box Office Mojo I found the sub topic Action Heroine

It ranks action movies released since 1980 with a female lead by box office returns.
There are only 76 entrees with some movies like Kick Ass and Blade Trinity in the questionable category for me.
The Force Awakens and Rogue One top the list with it's huge Star Wars fanbase.
I found it after checking out the Tomb Raider Showdown article.
As of today Angelina Jolie's Tomb Raider movies have topped the recent one in Head to Head competition

Interesting note to me is that all three movies have a PG 13 rating
Angelina's for: "action violence and some sensuality"
Alicia's for: "sequences of violence and action, and for some language"
I personally would rather watch a sexy heroine than one who uses foul language
