This is a scene in Supergirl with Helen Slater and her first introduction to Earth under a yellow power-inducing sun.
The scene was changed to make Kara look cuter as she blew her crumbled rock fragments away from her open palm and she smiled.
The original scene looks cooler as she lands on the shore, picks up the rock inquisitively, glances up at her new Sun, and then, accidentally, the rock crumbles into gravel and then dust.from her hand. Pouring the fragments back to the shore, she hops up and bounds away without a thought.
Perhaps the scene was dropped, as for a kids movie staring up directly into the sun would not be a good education for youngsters...

E.T.A. When Kara glances down at her handiwork, she is oblivious to what she has achieved;
'Oh well, the rocks here must be made out of porous sand or something...'
She looks innocently unaware of the powers she now possesses.

Way more violent and fast than I can remember, (a good thing) Wished she kicked more ass like this, But it was her debut after all.

Looking back on this thread after it posted up again, got to say my favourite one is here. Kara is looking young, fresh and adventurous. Whilst the general public are running sh*t scared in all directions, she quickly strides, almost marches towards her would-be assailants and their oncoming bullets with a confident smile on her face.

Felon No.1; Easily taken down onto his back like a sack of spuds (probably with a broken arm from Kara, to thank him for his efforts) whilst she simultaneously grabs at high speed and easy strength the semi-automatic rifle from felon number 2.

Felon No.2; Not so lucky as number 1, as Kara nonchalantly drives her fist into his face. Even if she Pulls her Punch, Kara sends him flying through the air, say 20 metres? (she is the only one who knows what real flying is about after all), smashing his head into the concrete steps of the bank he has just tried to rob.
(Sigh..those were the days...)

She wouldn't see the need to wait for the cops to turn up and apprehend them. Job taken care of. Kara can glance up and reach for the skies.

A great pace and rhythm with Kara being effortlessly quick and efficient, despite this being her first real encounter.
The pace and rhythm to the scene is almost hypnotic!

E.T.A. The two guys are in separate law enforcement questioning rooms after Kara's debut (and after the two guy's eventual.recoveries);
"Who the hell was that? Who the hell is she? "

Chief of Police response;
"Uhh.....we ask the questions here, not you."

The week after, five criminals are detained when one notices the deformed bar;
 "Hey guys, there's something wrong with that bar. Give me a hand to loosen it and we're free!"
 "NNNGGHHH!!!" all five groaned as the bar didn't budge an inch as they PULLED with all their might at a steel bar that had effortlessly been stretched loose in a second by a girl with superstrength.

One thing that's always nice about Laura V is that she really knows how to use body language and expressions to project power in this kind of  scene. She's also fit enough to be believable. It's the little details that geek me out.

See I feel kind of the opposite.  I don't like when female superwomen show determination when they perform an act of strength.  That shows they have to put in effort, which in my mind implies that aren't that super.  When Clark shows up to close the bars, he does it quickly and without expression implying that act was effortless.  That's what I want to see from the women.  The CW had Kara breathing heavily after performing some feat and had her body shake a little bit when hit by bullets.  That always annoyed me.  Is she Supergirl or Sortakindamaybe Supergirl?

I see Laura van der Voort there as Kara showing some aggression and annoyance after being put behind bars against her free will.
She is still young and will be pretty new to her superstrength, and adjusting, where as her cousin is more experienced and there to try calm her down.
A comparison could be made with Lynda Carter bending through her bars with a sigh and a smile, but she would have more experience as Wonder Woman in a very different kind of role.
I think Laura played her 'teenage angst' and 'still learning' role right.

If you mean the one with Sophie Turner levitating, it's from Dark Phoenix, the final entry in Fox's X-Men series before they got bought by Disney

Catching the late night Bus Service

I found a cool gif of Ursa, of her lifting the people-packed bus with her hands - she nearly even snaps the front bumper off with her left hand! - but that's ok, her superstrong right arm can keep holding the undercarriage of her bus aloft with no problems for her at all.

Unfortunately, her gif file is 63 MB in size, and maybe too much for even Ursa to handle, (but we can be damn sure she would manage the load just fine.)
Here is an image of her in the scene, GIF link to follow below...

Number two with Emma Watson definitely Rocks!
"Yeah, it was some crazy magic spell they accidentally cast on me at Hogwarts during filming, and now I can do THIS!" she shouted into the mic.

She tilts her head back slightly, letting her neck muscles do all the work, as he is easily taken care off with a puff of her SuperSonic breath - she doesn't need to even try hard or make much of an effort on her part to take her would-be house robber down...with a little smouldering glance as she passes by to say 'Ooohhh Yeah, that was ALL me. Do you wanna be next, or are you gonna leave right now?'

The GIF file is too large for even Diana Prince to handle, apart from his rifle which is easy enough for her as Wonder Woman, but I am sure the guy on the end of her 'pull' is content with the outcome as she rips his weapon apart and closes in on him to 'wrap him up!' (and she definitely looks Super-Statuesque standing up against the man-child.)

Lynda Carter easily breaks through chains of steel as Wonder Woman.

Her GIF(t) is too large to load, even for Ms. Diana Prince, but she can easily handle this. Here is her (chain) link - and those chains are gonna snap pretty easily!...
