Lynda still looks amazing as Wonder Woman!

Also, a great shout out to director Patty.Jenkins and her story for leading with this!

This should be fun. I briefly confused Kathleen Kennedy for Patty Jenkins and was concerned but I feel better now.  Crossing my fingers for her guiding Rogue Squadron well too.

I have always said that Lynda Carter should stay away from this franchise.
Her brief cameo in WW84 proved that point.
She dominated the screen and my first thought was when I saw her was: "That's Wonder Woman"

Considering that Steve Trevor is the real hero of the first two movies, he has given up his life twice now to save the day, Gal's Wonder Woman doesn't need this competition

There is no 'competition'!

As good as Gal Gadot may be as an actress and Gal's abilities to adapt to the role of her version of WW, Gal will always be in Lynda Carter's shadow as someone to aspire to and look up to for the role of Wonder Woman. Lynda IS Gal's inspiration for the role. No contest!

Looking at it from Lynda's perspective, she's an actor. Actors, especially mostly retired ones, usually really enjoy getting back on set for a bit, especially when they don't have to carry the show. The sights, sounds, feels of being on a major set, the vibe, especially in her case when she originally defined the role. Anyone who has spent any time at all around a major production can appreciate the heady atmosphere of movie-making.

Whether her presence is a distraction for the audience or not, I'm betting Lynda is personally having great fun doing these cameos. Smiling quietly with the knowledge that she will always be the ONE for the true fans.

How many of us would like to be in that position when our careers are near their end? To be so fondly remembered. I remember Chuck Yeager talking about having a cameo in the movie The Right Stuff. He wasn't even an actor, but he still got a real charge out of playing a lowly bartender in a movie that was initially about his exploits as a great test pilot. Pure fun...
