The same company is working with Sexy Superheroines to make original superheroine shorts as well.

Since this movie was first mentioned on another thread, I've watched all of the streaming Blinky Productions films. Some of the a couple of times. This guy's a filmmaker! And a good one at that!

Oooh wow, what a great video clip and actress, she's the perfect Power Girl! -even has her attitude too!- I really hope she uses the Karen Starr secret ID and changes into Power Girl when trouble arises. -I was soo waiting for her to crush something at the end of the vid when that guy asks if she could 'handle the job' Oh course she can, she's POWER GIRL...oops, I mean, Karen Starr.

Thanks for pointing out the trailer. I hope she does something "super" in the actual movie. But from what I understand, it is a comedy. So the chances of that go down. We can all hope though...

Quick review. Awesome!! Really good, and actually quite funny. For a fan film the acting is excellent (and I have seen a lot of fan films - mainly of the SW variety), as is the directing. Of particular note is the editing, which really does contribute to some laughs.

Kelly, I agree, this guy is good. And I hope he makes many more films in this genre.

One thing I have to mention, in particular relation to this forum, don't expect any "uber action". It's not really that kind of film (maybe his next ones will contain some - here's hoping). But it IS a darn good film!! Make sure you check it out.

The actress does a great job of capturing Power Girl's attitude. And the filmmaker is awesome! I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, go watch it!!

I watched it last night. All I have to say is that it was stupendous. The actress was just perfect for the role. And it's great that they used her secret identity of Karen Starr, as I was hoping.

I managed to just watch it as well and am in AWE at the great job this team put into creatign such a great picture of Power Girl. Wow, its so cool how kuch the star looks like her, from her looks to how PG would act, even as Karen Star. I woul;d have sooo loved to see her pound that menace, but crushing that box was welll worth the ending for me. I'd like to have this in a format where I could add it to my collection. Hopefully someone would do this to the Power Girl movie as was done with the Catwoman Princiles one.

They did a remarkable job. It's a shame there wasn't more action and use of superpowers, but the acting and attitude were just amazing.

My favorite is when she gets heckled at work by friends... that was a masterpiece.

According to the filmmakers website he is going to make a Catwoman/Powergirl team up movie. If it is anything like his other two, it should be great.

That was great. Like others have said when Karen gets heckled at work and the very end was probably some of the best parts. The actress was great and hit the character to a T. Hope Blinky does make another film with her in it.
