Mega Mindy

Came across a new (to me at least) superheroine which is apparently shown on European TV. Apparently their are plans to show an English language version. It's most definately a kids tv program, but a good looking superheroine displaying super speed, strength and super breath, I thought it was worthy of a mention. This Tv-Show is in Dutch language ! It's a Belgian tv-show

She has a cool transformation, and she can "warp" herself arround. Love it!

I might find her more impressive if all of her powers didn't reside in her gun.

What language is this in?

I don't get it, not the costume or her, ....but...the load of adults and late teens at her gig. If they were all kids I'd understand, but what kind of cultural phenomenon is she? Is it because its so bad its cool or something?
